Supplied complete with the necessary modification brackets, initial installation can be carried out in about 4 hours. Once installed, the battery can remain fitted for periods of up to 2 years without maintenance. The battery has flown operationally with a major Europ ean airforce since June 1998 and has been selected for the entire US Air Force pre- block 40 F-16 fleet.
